VIDEO: Eminem z rekordnim številom nominacij

Znane so nominacije za 53. podelitev glasbenih nagrad grammy. Že tretje leto zapored so nominacije objavili na eni od ameriških televizijskih postaj v sklopu koncerta The Grammy Nominations Concert Live – Countdown To Music's Biggest Night. Enourni program je bil posvečen prav omenjenim nominacijam. "Letošnji nominiranci so talentirani glasbeniki, ki poosebljajo odličnost na svojem področju," je dejal Neil Portnow, predsednik Recording Academy.

Eminem je bil absolutni zmagovalec in rekorder večera, saj je dobil največ nominacij, in sicer kar 10, sledi mu Bruno Mars s sedmimi, s šestimi nominacijami so slavili Jay Z, Lady Antebellum in Lady Gaga. Pet nominacij so si prislužili B.o.B, David Frost, Jeff Beck, John Legend in Philip Lawrence. S štirimi nominacijami pa se lahko pohvalijo Alex Da Kid, Ari Levine, Cee Lo Green, Dirk Sobotka, Drake, Katy Perry, Rihanna, The Black Keys, The Roots in Zac Brown.

Slavnostna prireditev bo potekala 13. februarja naslednje leto. Vsako leto podelijo tudi štiri glavne nagrade, šest posebnih nagrad in nagrade za 30 različnih glasbenih zvrsti v kar 109 kategorijah.
